We loved our shoot with Lisa +David, getting to know them better + wandering around dallas road together 🙂 These two are so fun + easy going and we can’t wait to document their island wedding at the beautiful Inn at Laurel Point in just a couple weeks – it’s going to be so beautiful! Here’s a few of our favorites from our time together!
We are so excited to share Ashley + Mark’s wedding with you today! This was a special one for us because Ashley and I grew up together, attending the same high school and we actually photographed her brother’s wedding a few years ago, so it made for the most lovely little reunion too! SO honored and happy when they asked us to photograph their wedding! Sea Cider was such a lovely backdrop and the flowers and details were perfection! Ashley + Mark, thank you so much for having us capture your wedding day. Enjoy a few favourites!
We’re so excited to finally share Dustin + Katt’s wedding with you today! These two celebrated on one of the craziest days mother nature could have thrown at a couple … torrential winds, road closures, power outages and an earthquake earlier that morning. Power was out in almost all of Mission, EXCEPT for the church they were getting married at. After the ceremony, we headed over with the bridal party to an airplane hangar where Dustin works for photos .. the sky outside the hangar looked like something out of the Twister movie. While we were taking their photos, we found out there was no power at their reception site. Thankfully, their family found a few generators to keep the party going!
Despite all of mother nature’s happenings that day, Katt + Dustin kept smiling though it all and everything came together so beautifully with the help of all their incredible family and friends. Here are a few favorites from the day 😉
We headed over to Salt Spring Island for Aaron + Marisa’s engagement session and it was one of the most beautiful and creative islands to photograph on. Aaron actually grew up on the island and he took us to the spot where his first home once stood and family’s old barn/workshops. We loved getting to spend time with them and exploring such beautiful spots. Aaron was our tour guide and drove us up Mt. Maxwell which did not disappoint! They were up for anything – standing on the edge of a cliff in freezing temperatures while the wind and rain pelted on us, torrential downpours in an open field … and the list goes on. We are lucky to have such carefree, outgoing couples and SO excited to photograph their wedding next month at the beach house – it’s going to be amazing!
